More than half of small South Korean exporters to European countries are negative about their business situation in the second half (H2), a poll showed Monday.
According to the survey of 300 small and medium exporters to Europe, 56.3 percent of the respondents said their export will decline in H2.
About 41 percent said they will not be affected, while only 2.7 percent expected their export will increase.
The respondents also said they plan to enter the US (22.3 percent), China (19 percent), Southeast Asia (13 percent) and Brazil (11 percent) instead of Europe.
In addition, 30.7 percent said the Korea-EU FTA is helpful to their efforts to overcome difficulties while only 13 percent said it is not helpful.
